A b o u t t h e A r t i s t
Alexa has studied color theory, portraiture, abstract and
representational painting at Massachusetts College of Art in
Boston, MA, at the Liga de Arte in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and at
the School of Visual Arts in New York. She has painted portraits
and murals on commission for clients in Boston, New York City,
Washington, D.C., and San Juan.
After graduating from Harvard College with a degree in History &
Literature, Alexa worked as a writer and editor for several years
in different mediums, contexts, and countries. She began
painting seriously while living in South America over ten years
ago and has since made the passion into a discipline. Alexa is
currently a resident of Park Slope, Brooklyn. References and
